ChatGPT Enterprise Integration
Connect ChatGPT Enterprise to bring your ChatGPT seat usage into Cloud ex Machina.
| Data | Source | Credential |
|---|---|---|
| Users and seats in the workspace | SCIM API | SCIM token |
The SCIM API gives no spend and no message activity.
Prerequisites
- Cloud ex Machina Admin access.
- A ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace. Other plans have no SCIM.
- The Owner role in the ChatGPT workspace.
- SAML single sign-on active on the workspace.
Step 1: Get the SCIM endpoint and token
Existing SCIM connection
If your identity provider already uses SCIM with ChatGPT, do not create a new SCIM connection. A new connection rotates the token, and your identity provider stops provisioning users. Use the existing endpoint and token instead.
- In ChatGPT, open the profile menu at the bottom left.
- Click Workspace settings > Identity & access.
- Click Enable Directory Sync.
- If ChatGPT asks, select Use SCIM only for this workspace.
- Copy the SCIM endpoint URL.
- Remove
https://from the start of the URL. - Copy the SCIM token. ChatGPT shows the token only once.
Step 2: Add the connection in Cloud ex Machina
- In the sidebar, click Integrations.
- Find ChatGPT Enterprise and click Sign in. If the integration already has a connection, the button is Add connection.
- Fill in:
- SCIM Endpoint: the URL from Step 1, without
https://. - SCIM Token: the token from Step 1.
- SCIM Endpoint: the URL from Step 1, without
- Submit the form. Cloud ex Machina checks the token with ChatGPT and saves the connection.
Remove a connection
- Click the connection row under the ChatGPT Enterprise card.
- Click Disconnect.
- If your identity provider uses the SCIM token, do not revoke it.
